Though CNY is one of the holidays I look forward to after the Christmas and ang-moh New Year holidays, its more the break off work or piano lessons than anything else.
I had always felt that CNY is a time when many people with nothing in common but blood are forced to put together to mingle. Constant pesters from gossipy relatives to get pregnant pissed me to no end.. and I mean it. Snapped at one aunt much to the horror of my on-watching parents. Am sure this will keep me away from their mindless talk for a while.
Other than the not-so-pleasant incident, this CNY has been quite enjoying for me, surprisingly. Have been feasting on good food non-stop at family or friends gatherings and company functions. Guess some people (like myself) look forward to festivals like these because they give you legitimate excuses to take a temporary break off your eat-healthy-and-in-moderation new year resolution.
Pictures taken in office on New Year's Eve. Everyone was in a festive mood~

Department CNY Lunch at Fullerton. Heard the company paid quite a fair bit for the meal but food was only mediocre. So much for the ambience~
